Hawkeye Review

So Hawkeye’s final episode just came out today, which is great news cause now I can finally give my full thoughts about this show. So what did I think about Hawkeye? It’s complicated…

I want to start with what I loved, which first of all I have to talk about the action, the choreography is great, its exciting and fun and sometimes also very funny, they also brought in this show some crazy new gadget arrows for hawkeye which made the fights super exciting and fun.

The second thing I really want to praise the show for is the music, this show just screams CHRISTMAS! they have great music that is always Christmas themed and the fun thing is they even implement that in the fights, a lot of the fights have a twist to the music that makes it sound like classic Christmas music and it makes the whole fight sequences much more fun.

The third thing I want to talk about is the acting, everyone in the show is great, all the actors are giving great performances that make the show much better and much more emotional at times and much more funny at others, also the show did a great job dealing with the relationship between Clint and Kate.

Now unfortunately there is a lot of stuff that bugged me about this show. The major thing that bugged me is the story, the show starts as a very generic action show, in my opinion, it’s fun but nothing special, the problem is every episode the show got more convoluted, they brought a lot of new characters and you can see the writers panicking, especially in this last episode which in my opinion the story in it was all over the place, they tried to bring so much into such little time that they also, in my opinion, ruined some characters, I won’t say which characters because that would, unfortunately, be spoilers.

To sum up, everything I have said, I enjoyed Hawkeye, it was a fun ride and even very emotional at times, it could have been a real Christmas classic but unfortunately, the messy writing really weighs on the show.

My overall score for Hawkeye is 7.5/10

Spiderman: No Way Home Review

So I have watched “Spiderman: No Way Home” yesterday and ill start this review by just saying this, I think this is the best spiderman movie that has been made so far.

This will be a non-spoiler review so don’t worry, I am not going to say anything that you don’t see in the trailer, and even if it is in the trailer I won’t talk about the full context so it won’t spoil anything.

Let’s start with the overall story, its great, they have found a way to bring all of those villains in an interesting and fun adventure but even with that there’s just so much depth to the story it’s great, it has a lot of very fun moment’s but it also has a lot of dark and emotional moments that some will truly leave you in shock.

The acting of course is top-notch from everyone, Tom Holland gives one of his best performances. Willem Defoe is amazing in the movie, he stole almost every scene he was in, he is absolutely terrifying when he is on screen and it brought a lot of great tension. Also, other actors that did a phenomenal job are Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, and other people that I will not mention because it will bring spoilers, unfortunately.

The movie gives a lot more depth to Peter’s character and it finds a great way to really show how Peter has matured and become more responsible.

The movie also has a lot of great easter eggs, almost in every scene you can find a cool easter egg so I know that this for sure got fans happy because I am also a huge fan and I was very pleased with a lot of the easter eggs.

The visuals in this movie are absolutely stunning, the special effects are gorgeous, and the choreography in some of the fights is also very well made.

Overall the movie is a crowd-pleaser, for the entire movie I had a huge smile on my face, the audience in my cinema that were watching with me all laughed at the jokes, we all clapped our hands at certain scenes, people got into tears in some of the emotional scenes, this movie just basically found a way to please a crowd in every way possible and it’s great because that is one of the most important things in a movie like this, to let the audience connect and have fun. But what was even more impressive is that the movie had so much depth and so many moments that were also dark and emotional and not only just dumb superhero fun that it made this movie just a good movie period, which is in my opinion what makes it the most unique spiderman movie, because yes there are spiderman movies with depth but this movie in my opinion just had a lot more depth than them in a way that just made it for me the best Spiderman movie.

I did have small tiny issues with the movies that I, unfortunately, can’t mention in this review because it contains spoilers so ill stop here.

To sum everything up, “Spiderman: No Way Home” is in my opinion the best Spiderman movie ever made, and it is also one of the best movies in recent years, this is definitely not a movie you should miss watching in the cinema.

My overall score for “Spiderman: No Way Home” is: 9.8/10

Spiderman: Across The SpiderVerse (Part 1) First Look

Sony Pictures has released a couple of hours ago the first teaser trailer for the very anticipated upcoming “Spidermen: Into The SpiderVerse” sequel, and they also revealed that this movie is called “Spiderman: Across The SpiderVerse” and that this movie is part 1 out of what looks like a 2 part long story so yea, it’s official that this Spiderman is having a trilogy like every other cinematic Spiderman.

The teaser starts with where the last movie ended, Miles in his bed listening to music, and then Gwen arrives, we see them talking and then after 1 minute of dialog, it cuts into seeing Miles flying into a different universe and then flying around the city for a couple of seconds until suddenly we see Spiderman 2099 coming and grabbing miles, throwing him into another universe and there also grabbing them which makes it looks like Miles is going to be going in this upcoming movie against Spiderman 2099.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One) Trailer Teases Miles Morales Vs. Spider-Man 2099

The teaser also shows us that Oscar Isaac will return to voice Spiderman 2099, in the last movie Oscar Isaac voiced that character in a post-credit scene.

As usual, the music gives a great atmosphere in this teaser even though we don’t hear much, still very well made, and the animation while I still believe it’s an unfinished chase scene because the movement looks a bit choppy in my opinion but I still thinks that it looks stunning as usual.

Spiderman: Across The SpiderVerse (Part 1) is scheduled to come out on October 7th, 2022, and I can happily say this is one of the movies I am most excited about in 2022.

Spiderman Will Return!

Good news to all of you Spiderman fans because apparently Spidey is not done in the MCU, Sony Studio’s producer Amy Pascal who has been a very big deal in the negotiation between Sony and Marvel on their favorite spider, said in an interview that Spiderman: No Way Home my end this Spiderman trilogy but it won’t end Spiderman’s time in the MCU and that they will be making another trilogy after this movie.

She also Confirmed that Tom Holland will remain playing Spiderman in those upcoming movies.

This is what Pascal had to say to Fandango in their interview with her: “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”(Provided by Fandango)

Now Tom Holland did say in an interview a couple of weeks ago that if he is playing Spiderman after he is 30 then something is wrong, so he might quit after the next one or two films because he is already 25 years old, OR he was just saying that so when this second MCU Spiderman trilogy is confirmed it will be a bigger surprise, I guess we will not know until he turns 30.

Spiderman: No Way Home comes out to cinemas on December 17th

Ironheart Start Filming April 2022

After Iron Man’s death in “Avengers: Endgame” the fans have been wondering what is marvel going to do now after he is gone, are they going to revive him at some point, are they going to give the mantle to someone else or are they just going to move on?
Well at first it looked like the answer was that they are giving the mantle to Spiderman, in fact, the latest Spiderman film “Spiderman: Far From Home” talked a lot about how Peter feels responsible and like he has a lot on his shoulders now and the needs to try and be the sort of next Iron Man.

A couple of months ago Marvel announced a bunch of new Disney+ shows they are making and one of them is called Ironheart, which basically confirmed for the fans that instead of giving the mantle to Spiderman, they will be introducing Riri Williams from the comics and that they will give her the mantle of Iron Man in her upcoming Disney+ show.

It has now been reportedly announced that filming for the show will begin in April 2022.

The show will be written by Chinaka Hodge who is the writer behind the Netflix Snowpiercer show, but the show currently doesn’t have a director yet. The show is also going to star Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams.

Marvel Adds Delroy Lindo To ‘Blade’ Cast

It was announced that Delroy Lindo will be the first actor that is joining the cast of the upcoming Blade movie that will be starring Mahershala Ali as the titular character.

Lindo who has played recently in the Netflix Western “The Harder They Fall” has joined the cast but it is still unclear what part he is taking in the project, a strong possibility is that he is going to be playing Jamal Afari who is in the comics is Blade’s mentor. If you have seen the old Blade movie that starred Wesly Snipes then you will recognize that character as Abraham Whistler who was played by Kris Kristofferson, in those versions of Blade they decided to change the characters name but he was originally Jamal Afari.

The movie is directed by Bassam Tariq(Mogul Mowgli) and the script is written by Stacy Osei-Kuffour(HBO’s Watchman), also the movie doesn’t have a release date yet but it’s expected to come out in late 2023.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” Halts Productions Until 2022

It was known to us that last summer Latitia Wright got injured on the set while filming a stunt in Boston, at first it seemed that the injuries were pretty minor and that the actress will recover pretty quickly and be very fast ready for action, however, now it’s clear that this is not the case and that she is actually suffering and recovering from a shoulder fracture and a concussion. Unfortunately because of the injuries, she is suffering and in need of recovery for Marvel decided to take a hiatus and freeze the project until 2022.

Earlier today Kevin Feige, Louise D’Esposito, and Nate Moore sent a note to the cast and crew to inform them that they are stopping productions.

The note said:

“As we wind down for the holidays, we wanted to send a note of thanks and appreciation for the hard work of our entire cast and crew, as well as an update on timing. First and foremost, this project is exceptional and something we know audiences are eager to see. We could not be any more excited to complete this film and share it with the world next year. Thank you for everything you’ve done to get us to this place.

Unfortunately, we’ve not gotten here without a few setbacks. Running a production of this scale in the midst of a pandemic is not an easy task, and you have remained diligent and professional throughout. In addition, as you are all aware, Letitia had a frightening accident on our set during a stunt back in August. It was a reminder of the importance of safety at all times in our work, which we know you understand and are committed to. What we had initially thought were minor injuries turned out to be much more serious with Letitia suffering a critical shoulder fracture, and a concussion with severe side effects. It has been a painful process and Letitia has been home recovering with her doctors and the support of family.

We’ve adjusted our production schedule so she has the time she needs to heal, but there’s only so much we can do without Shuri! We also want to thank Letitia for everything she’s doing to get back to the set – we know how much she loves this role, how tough it’s been for her to be away, and how hard she’s working to recover as quickly as she safely can. We are eagerly awaiting her return and we know we will all come back stronger together.

Please be on the lookout for more information on your specific return-to-work date. As of now, we’re on schedule to resume filming – with Letitia – in January 2022. We are all focused on finishing the movie with excellence, honoring the memory of our dear brother Chadwick in the process. We are thrilled to share Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with the world, confident that the challenges that we have overcome together as a team will make the film even more impactful. Please take care of yourselves and enjoy the holidays.

In the note, they wrote, “We’ve adjusted our production schedule so she has the time she needs to heal, but there’s only so much we can do without Shuri!” this is because after the untimely and unfortunate passing of the late Chadwick Boseman it was rumored and seemed that they in this Black Panther sequel they will focus on Latitia’s character “Shuri” because they are not planning on recasting T’Challa and they said that they are also not going to do what was done at the end of Fast 7 with the late Paul Walker where they took someone similar to him and deepfaked his face onto him. That sentence in the note seems to confirm that those rumors that the movie will focus on Latitia’s character now are true.

The movie’s release date was also pushed back from July 8th, 2022 to November 11th, 2022 which makes sense because of the delay with the productions.

All rights go to Marvel Studios

Eternals *Secret Character* Gets Officially Welcome To The MCU With His Own Brand New Eternals Poster

I want to start by saying this: if you have yet to watch Eternals by now then this post will contain spoilers for that movie, especially for the mid-credit scene so I would suggest that if you haven’t watched the film yet you will stop now and go watch the movie before you read this.

Anyway, yes, Marvel decided to officially welcome the secret mid-credit scene character “Eros” played by Harry Styles with his brand new Eternals poster.

All credit for the poster goes to Marvel Studios

Now the character Eros (also goes by the name StarFox) that Harry Styles plays is of course going to have a lot of impact on the future of the MCU, this is, after all, non-other than Thanos’s brother, he is also called “The Royale Prince Of Titan” which is the planet where he and Thanos came from. We see his character pop up during the mid-credit scene inside the Eternals ship to come and offer his help for the remaining Eternals (Thena, Makkari, and Druig) explaining to them he also has a grudge against the Celestials because just like them he is also an eternal born by the Celestials.
We also see in the scene that he has a little companion called Pip the Troll which is voiced by Patton Oswalt.

Carnage FOREVER

Marvel decided to announce that because next year is Carnages 30th anniversary they will be releasing a brand new One-Shot comic that will have stories written by both Ryan V and Kennedy Johnson, the comic name is going to be “Carnage Forever” and it’s the first part is going to be releasing both digitally and printed at February 22nd, Marvel has said they are having big plans for Carnage in 2022 and they are planning on starting it with style with this one-shot.
