Temporary Follow Button Fix

Hi, I know there have been problems with the follow button and I am trying to work on it, for now, I found a temporary fix. If you look at the menu now you will see a follow button with a followers count near it.

When you press that follow button it will ask you to log into a WordPress account which is the site that this Blog is built on. Unfortunately, currently, the followers are connected to that site so you need a WordPress account to follow, so you need to press sign up or log in if you already have an account.

If you press log in then it will immediately follow but if you press sign up you have to create an account and when it tells you to start doing stuff for a website close the account creation part, then you go back to the website press follow again and it should let you follow.

Thanks for following and sorry for the mess 🙂

“Godfall: Challenger Edition” Full Information Is Out

Yesterday morning, Playstation announced its latest monthly free Playstation Plus games. In that announcement, they announced that “Godfall: Challenger Edition” will be one of those games.

Godfall may sound to some of you familiar because it is a third-person fantasy action RPG game that was launched with the PS5.
Now with the announcement, GearBox, and Counterplay (the publisher and the developer) decided to also say all the details about what this edition is, and it’s both exciting and unfortunately also disappointing.

Godfall: Challenger Edition is a repackage of the original game only in this version players are thrown straight into the Endgame of the game, instead of letting them go through the story.
The Challenger edition overall removes all the content that is unnecessary to partake in the Endgame grind cycle. This means it removes not only the campaign but also the Fire & Darkness expansion.
If you are looking to play the story mode of this game or acquire the weapons and cosmetics that are unlocked through the story, you will have to buy the deluxe edition of the game.

This challenger edition will still have content though so don’t worry.
It will immediately unlock for every player that uses that edition three of the endgame modes which are:

Dreamstones- rounds of randomized encounters.

Ascended Tower of Trials- an infinite tower filled with waves of enemies and bosses that escalate in difficulty.

And the final one is called Lightbringer which is an expansion that was added to the game with the premium Fire & Darkness expansion. It was added with that expansion but it’s still separate from that expansion.
Lightbringer is a replayable endgame mode with roguelike elements that allow players to adapt to the difficulty of the experience as they progress.

Another small detail to note is in case you were worried and wondering, don’t worry, the game will still have co-op.

Godfall: Challenger Edition will release on ps+ on December 7th and on Epic Games for free from December 9th until December 16th.
The game is also available for 14.99$ for purchase.

Chucky S1 Review

So Chucky season 1 just ended after also announcing it will have a second season, what did I think about this new show? well, I honestly loved it.

Chucky, written and directed by Don Mancini, is another part of the popular horror franchise Child’s Play, only this time it’s a TV show instead of a movie.

Chucky’s synopsis is: “After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets.”(provided by IMDb)
In other words, Chucky the sadistic killer doll is back to terrorize another group of people, and honestly, this is one of the most fun shows I have watched all year.

The show is full of great dark humor and a lot of gruesome kills which is essentially what makes Chucky the horror icon he is, and they did a great job here, Chucky is sadistic, he is vicious, he is brutal, and he is also super funny.

(Don Mancini, creator of the show holding the Chucky doll)

My favorite thing about the show that was actually something I was afraid they wouldn’t manage to do well is finding the balance between tension, horror, and humor. The show did a great job and found a really good balance that let her move from one moment being really funny to another being really dramatic and sometimes also very emotional.

The show stars Zackary Arthur, Bjorgvin Arnarson, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Teo Briones, and many more great actors and for the most part a lot of them do a fantastic job, the thing that really caught me by surprise and I was very impressed by was actually the flashbacks. During some episodes, we see flashbacks in which we see young Charles Lee Ray and I was very impressed at first that they found a perfect actor that really looks like young Brad Dourif, but then to my surprise, I found out that the one who plays Charles Lee Ray’s younger version is actually Brad Dourif’s daughter, Fiona Dourif who also plays as Nicka in the show.

(Fiona Dourif as young Charles Lee Ray)

Now there are a couple of things that I found a little disappointing and weird that I want to talk about.
First of all, in the flashbacks I mentioned they put the voice of Brad Dourif over what Fiona was saying when she was playing his younger version, and you do sort of get used to it but at the first couple of episodes that have those flashbacks, it was really obvious that its a recorded voice and it did throw me off a little bit.

The second thing that was a bit of a letdown is the special effects, for the most part, they looked alright, sometimes even great, but there are moments where you were able to clearly see that its someone moving a doll, in other words, there were moments where Chucky’s movement looked very artificial and not organic as they do look like most of the time.

Also, the last thing is that as good of a job the actors did with their parts, there were moments where the acting felt a little weak and it also threw me a bit off.

Overall I really enjoyed Chucky, its a very fun short horror-comedy show and I am glad it’s getting a second season, it had a great story, and even with some of the things there that I didn’t like I still believe it was a very good show.

My overall score for Chucky is 8/10

King Richard Review

King Richard is a new biography sports drama about the two famous tennis players Venus and Serena Williams but it’s told from their father’s perspective Richard Williams.

King Richard is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (The Boy, Monsters and Men) and it’s written by Zach Baylin. The movie stars Will Smith (Men in Black, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I am legend) as Richard Williams, Aunjanue Ellis (Men of Honor) as Oracene Williams, Saniyya Sidney (Fences, Roots) as Venus Williams, and Demi Singleton(Godfather of Harlem) as Serena Williams.

The acting in King Richard is amazing. Saniyya and Demi play Serena and Venus very well and they do a very good job in their part.
John Bernthal (The Punisher, The Walking Dead) is also great in the movie, plays a very charming and charismatic guy, and does it well.
Aunjanue is also great as the mother, she shows a lot of emotion and depth and you feel for her during the entire movie.

But the absolute star of this film who I thoroughly believe stole every scene and deserves an Oscar without a doubt is Will Smith. I think this is absolutely the best appearance I have ever seen of him, he is amazing here, you get mad at him but you also feel sad for him and you also sympathize with him and you feel for him and he is doing an absolutely incredible job playing the father Richard Williams.

The movie has a great way of telling its story, and it’s directed beautifully, with a lot of very gut-punching heavy emotional scenes that really make you feel a lot of different emotions towards everyone in this movie, from sad to angry to happy to disappointed to frustrated, this is a great story shown and told very well by a director that it is clear when you see the movie that knows how to make a good film.

Now the movie does have some issues, it’s not perfect.
The first thing that bothered me is that the movie talks about the sister’s story from the father’s perspective but it decided halfway into the movie to only focus on one sister for the rest of the movie. Now I get that the real story is really like that as well but in the movie they do focus sometimes on the second sister too at the first half and at the second they just stop completely and just decide to ignore her like she isn’t really a part of the story anymore, at the end of the film it tells you what happened to her but I do believe that they could have shown a bit more of what she is also doing because from what I know and what I understand from the movie, she did keep training until she joined her sister two years later to the tournaments, so it just disappointed me that they didn’t also show much of Serena’s progress in the movie even though the story is about both of them.

The second thing I didn’t like too much is I think the movie is too long. Now I know I said there should have been more scenes showing also the other sisters progress which would make the movie longer but what I think they should have done is replace some of the scenes I thought were unnecessary with more scenes showing the progress of the other sister, that way they could make the movie shorter and also let us see Serena’s progress.

Overall I really enjoyed King Richard, I think Will Smith deserves an oscar for his acting and I truly hope he gets it. The film does have some problems but I still really liked it, mostly because the acting made it a lot better in my opinion.

My score for King Richard is: 8/10

Chucky Renewed For Season 2

The sadistic killer doll is not done terrorizing everyone just yet.

Today will be the show’s season finale and the USA Network and Syfy Channel decided to announce ahead of that finale that the show will return with a second season in 2022!

The show has been a massive success and has a lot of old and new Child’s Play fans really enjoying and it is happy to receive the news about this second season.

Chucky was created, written, and directed by Don Mancini, which was the screenwriter of the original Child’s Play and was also the director of most of the Child’s Play movie sequels.

Mancini had this to say when he announced the shows second season: “We’re thrilled to start pulling the strings on a second season of puppet mayhem with ‘Chucky,’ Many thanks to our partners at USA, SYFY and UCP for their incredible support and guidance bringing ‘Chucky’ to the small screen, bigger than ever. And to the fans, Chucky sends his still-undying thanks and a message: ‘This isn’t over, not by a long shot. You better watch your backs in 2022!’”(provided by Collider)

Chucky stars Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alvyia Alyn Lind, Björgvin Arnarson, Devon Sawa, Lexa Doig, Barbara Alyn Woods, Alex Vincent, Fiona Dourif, Brad Dourif, and Jennifer Tilly.

A review will arrive tomorrow after the season finale.

Spiderman Will Return!

Good news to all of you Spiderman fans because apparently Spidey is not done in the MCU, Sony Studio’s producer Amy Pascal who has been a very big deal in the negotiation between Sony and Marvel on their favorite spider, said in an interview that Spiderman: No Way Home my end this Spiderman trilogy but it won’t end Spiderman’s time in the MCU and that they will be making another trilogy after this movie.

She also Confirmed that Tom Holland will remain playing Spiderman in those upcoming movies.

This is what Pascal had to say to Fandango in their interview with her: “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”(Provided by Fandango)

Now Tom Holland did say in an interview a couple of weeks ago that if he is playing Spiderman after he is 30 then something is wrong, so he might quit after the next one or two films because he is already 25 years old, OR he was just saying that so when this second MCU Spiderman trilogy is confirmed it will be a bigger surprise, I guess we will not know until he turns 30.

Spiderman: No Way Home comes out to cinemas on December 17th

The Last Duel (Review)

The Last Duel is a medieval film based on a famous book with the same name by Eric Jager. The film is directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, The Martian, Alien, Blade Runner), it’s written by Nicole Holofcener, Ben Affleck(Good Will Hunting, Batman vs Superman, Justice League), and Matt Damon(Good Will Hunting, The Martian), and it stars Adam Driver(Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Marriage Story), Matt Damon, Jodie Comer(Free Guy, Killing Eve), and Ben Affleck.

The movie synopsis is: “King Charles VI declares that Knight Jean de Carrouges settle his dispute with his squire by challenging him to a duel.”(provided by IMDb)

I loved this movie, there isn’t much that I did not enjoy in this film so let’s start by talking about what I enjoyed.

First of all, the story, it’s a brutal story about hatred, rape, men’s pride and it’s written very well, it’s told in 3 parts, every part is the same story we have seen in the previous one but it is shown and told from different characters perspective, first one is Matt Damon’s character, then it’s from the perspective of Adam Driver’s character and then it’s from Jodie Comer’s character which is also what truly happened. also, the way the movie is filmed is fantastic, the way the camera moves and pans in certain scenes makes them feel even more gut-punching and brutal.

Secondly, the acting. Matt Damon is immaculate, he gives his character a ton of depth and he is truly terrifying at times, he plays a brutal and vicious knight that you can feel his presence and his anger in every scene he is in, he is without a doubt scene-stealer in every scene he is in.
Jodie Comer also does a fantastic job as her character, you can feel her every emotion even when you look at it from different characters’ perspectives.
And of course, Adam Driver did a phenomenal job with his part, you can see how he in his head when he saw everything convinced himself that he is right and did nothing wrong even though we as the audience still know he did, but because of how well he is acting and how well the story is written it does make us as the audience confused to if he is actually at fault here or not.

The action scenes are brutal, you can feel every slash and every stab and it’s fascinating as much as it’s horrifying to see everything going down, Ridley Scott is truly great at directing medieval action.

The only part I didn’t like about the movie is that in some scenes in parts 2 and 3 part of those scenes was the same as the parts before and they still decided to show it which in my opinion was unnecessary and made the movie a lot slower at times.

Overall I love this film, my overall score for it is: 8.5/10
This is definitely a movie you should see in cinemas.

Now I want to talk about the box office situation… the movie has actually been a very big failure money wise which is sad, I feel like today a lot of people want to go to movies that are popular, movies that everyone talks about and not also to movies that are being less talked about, people want to go to mainly superhero movies or big blockbusters instead of also trying out other films that can be a bit more to the artistic side like this one. I also think the fact that a lot of movies today come out on streaming makes this movie fail even more because people are watching movies at home instead of going to the cinemas which makes it so that movies overall make back less money than what they should, now I know there is the covid situation still but I do want to ask you all, whoever is reading this, please do yourself a favor and support movies like this, for example, Last Night In Soho, great horror-thriller but it’s also bombing because people are waiting to watch it online instead of going to the cinemas, and it’s sad because movies like these should be supported because they are really really great.

ATLUS West, the company behind fan-favorite games such as “13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim” has officially announced that they are bringing their popular game to the Nintendo Switch.

Along with this announcement they also released a trailer of the various aspects the game has, weirdly though the trailer has 0 gameplay footage in it, though it does have some short glimpses of cut scenes and dialog from the game.

Ironheart Start Filming April 2022

After Iron Man’s death in “Avengers: Endgame” the fans have been wondering what is marvel going to do now after he is gone, are they going to revive him at some point, are they going to give the mantle to someone else or are they just going to move on?
Well at first it looked like the answer was that they are giving the mantle to Spiderman, in fact, the latest Spiderman film “Spiderman: Far From Home” talked a lot about how Peter feels responsible and like he has a lot on his shoulders now and the needs to try and be the sort of next Iron Man.

A couple of months ago Marvel announced a bunch of new Disney+ shows they are making and one of them is called Ironheart, which basically confirmed for the fans that instead of giving the mantle to Spiderman, they will be introducing Riri Williams from the comics and that they will give her the mantle of Iron Man in her upcoming Disney+ show.

It has now been reportedly announced that filming for the show will begin in April 2022.

The show will be written by Chinaka Hodge who is the writer behind the Netflix Snowpiercer show, but the show currently doesn’t have a director yet. The show is also going to star Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams.

How To Watch The Resident Evil Movies In Chronological Order?

Hey, I want to start by saying that I am not a very big fan of the resident evil movies, some were great, some were ok and I thought that some were also just pretty awful, but it is a pretty decent way to pass time and also if you want to sort of prepare for the upcoming movie “Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City” then this is sort of a way to do it.

Now I just want to also clarify this, this new Resident Evil movie is a reboot of the series that is rated R and is also unlike the movies that were until now in a couple ways, the main one is because this new movie follows the first 2 video games, unlike the movies that Paul W.S. Anderson directed which decided to do their own story with the characters and the monsters from the games.

The Resident Evil movies release date order is:

  • Resident Evil (2002)
  • Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)
  • Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)
  • Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
  • Resident Evil: Retribution(2012)
  • Resident Evil: The Final Chapter(2017)

The new Resident Evil movie called “Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City” was released in cinemas on November 24th (Review coming soon)

The Resident Evil movie franchise Chronological Order is:

1. Resident Evil (2002)

The synopsis is: “A special military unit fights a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident.”(provided by IMDb)

2. Resident Evil: Apocalypse(2004)

The synopsis is: “Alice wakes up in the Raccoon City hospital after the area has been overrun by zombies, and must now make it out of the city before a nuclear bomb is dropped.”(provided by IMDb)

3. Resident Evil: Extinction(2007)

The synopsis is: “Survivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice joins the caravan and their fight against the evil Umbrella Corp.(provided by IMDb)

RE3-382 (l to r) Spencer Locke, Ali Larter, Milla Jovovich and Oded Fehr in Screen Gems’ action/horror film RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION.

4. Resident Evil: Afterlife(2010)

The synopsis is: “While still out to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation, Alice joins a group of survivors living in a prison surrounded by the infected who also want to relocate to the mysterious but supposedly unharmed safe haven known only as Arcadia.”(provided by IMDb)

5. Resident Evil: Retribution(2012)

The synopsis is: “Alice fights alongside a resistance movement to regain her freedom from an Umbrella Corporation testing facility.”(provided by IMDb)

6. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter(2017)

The synopsis is: “Alice returns to where the nightmare began: The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.”(provided by IMDb)

There is also a short animated Resident Evil tv series that came out last year called “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness”.

“Train To Busan” Director Already Has Plans For His Next Zombie Movie

Yeon Sang-Ho, the director behind the great film “Train to Busan” and the underwhelming sequel “Peninsula”, has said that he already has plans for the next installment in his Zombie-Apocalypse movie series.

He has said in an interview with Variety this: “I believe that the zombie genre is very traditional but at the same time, depending on what you bring to that, it can be completely new. Personally, I do have some ideas in terms of further development of what happens after Peninsula. But as for whether I will create that into a film, it’s something that I do want to do. However, because there are a lot of productions that I’m working on currently, I’m thinking that I have to sort of organize the ideas and work on what I have to work on. Up until now, I have been someone who’s been an individual creator. But these days I’m thinking that maybe I need to come up with a system in order to really bring all of my creative visions to life.” (Provided By Variety and Collider)

He also mentioned that he wants to make Train to Busan as a series so we will probably be getting a tv show version of Train to Busan in the future.

His latest project “Hellbound” is currently streaming on Netflix, I would have written a review for it but I honestly haven’t finished it yet, it is just super boring and generic, it also has some very bad monster design in my opinion.

His latest projects haven’t been very good, like I mentioned, “Hellbound” is a boring mess and “Peninsula” is just him making Train to Busan into a generic action zombie film, so I wouldn’t personally get high hopes for his upcoming projects but who knows, he might surprise us.

In case you are interested in watching “Hellbound” here is the show’s synopsis:

“People hear predictions on when they will die. When that time comes, a death angel appears in front of them and kills them.”(Provided by IMDb)

The show consist of 6 episodes and it’s streaming now on Netflix.
